My 2019 Wellness Plan


2019 is already panning out to be a busy, busy year. I want to make sure I am as intentional as I can be about my health and well being because we all know that’s what falls to the wayside when life gets busy. I not only want to make sure I work out consistently this year but I also take the time for self care activities, whatever those may be. I’m going to break down my wellness plan into 3 subcategories: self care, fitness, and social. In my mind, each are equally important to being a well rounded, better human being.

  1. Wash my face every night, exfoliate often and do at least 1 face mask a week.

  2. Live by the 80/20 rule with food- 80% of the time eat healthy and 20% of the time indulge.

  3. Make sure I have at least one night a week where I stay home.

  1. Work out 3x a week for at least 30 minutes

  2. Walk for 15 minutes during my lunch 3-4 days a week.

  3. Work out in nature twice a month

  1. Meet with my mentor every other week

  2. Date night every week

  3. Plan a coffee/drinks/dinner/etc. with a friend/friends every week

What is your 2019 wellness plan? I know it sounds new-age-y but I’m hoping this helps keeps me accountable and inspires others to place their health and well being as a priority this year. Let’s do this!
